Educational Scholarships
The Aleut Foundation’s scholarship program has evolved over the years to better serve our students’ continuing education needs.
There are three scholarship application periods:
- Summer: April 1 – April 30 at 12 PM AKST.
- School Year (Fall and Spring): June 1 – June 30 at 12 PM AKST
- Spring: November 1 – November 30 at 12 PM AKST.
If the deadline falls on a weekend, the applications are due the Friday before.
Scholarship Award Levels
- Honors – $5,500 (3.5 to 4.0 GPA)
- Exceptional – $4,500 (3.0 to 3.49 GPA)
- Achievement – $3,500 (2.5 to 2.99 GPA)
- Merit – $3,000 (2.0 to 2.49 GPA)
- Working – Award is based on GPA (Working full-time and taking 9 credits or more)
- Part-Time – $2,500 (GPA 2.0+, taking less than 12 credits)
- Graduate – $7,500 (GPA 3.0+, taking 6 credits or more)
- Special Honors – $12,500 (GPA 3.0+, must apply during Fall term) – See Guidelines
- High School Advanced College Credits – $200/per credit
These amounts are for a school year, typically spanning from the Fall to the Spring term.
